I write MPreg (male pregnancy), and the hardest thing about MPreg is to maintain enough tension in the story after the characters get together so you can include the full pregnancy and the birth.įiona: How much of the book is realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?Īmy: Well, my last book was about a penguin shifter and polar bear shifter who fall in love in Anchorage Alaska, so nothing. It was just a fun experiment, and it ended up working out.įiona: How did you come up with the title?Īmy: I came up with the title of The Accidental Everything while brainstorming with my wife.įiona: Do you have a specific writing style? Is there anything about your style or genre that you find particularly challenging?Īmy: I write in first person, present tense, and my style is pretty casual.

I sold my first poem when I was sixteen and my first short story when I was nineteen.
